Am I worrying too much?

with 3 comments

Very possible, I am a chronic worrier.

Tai is eating fine and still happy.  My worry is because she seems to get out of breath more quickly the last week or so.  She is not walking quite as far as usual for our daily potty walks, though she is excited to go out.  She is not playing chase the toy for as long either.

Today we went to the park and she did want to go for a longer walk – we were out about 30 min, which is a long time and I knew she was tired.  So since SHE wanted to keep going, I felt better, and there was no shortness of breath.   She did find a lot of admirers, who were impressed (rather than pitying) about her TriPawd status – this is because she has such a good attitude and keeps going!

I wonder if my physical issue (still a bum knee) is reflecting on her somehow?  She went to PT on Thursday and did well, though she’s still not happy to do at-home exercises.

Sorry for the rambling…I don’t want to overdo it with her and have a lot on my mind.  Any suggestions to keep her engaged if she’s not into chasing her toy?  I worry that she is bored.

Don’t mind my dirty face 🙂

  1. Oh Tai! Yoy look ADORABLE with, or without, a dirty face!! Mud cannot cover up all that cuteness! 🙂

Think I can safely asy EVERYONE on this journeys worries waaay too much!! We notice every little hiccup or burp and analyze the heck out of it. And, of course, always think the worse case scenario we can make up!!

Sometimes tripawds just aren’t quite up to snuff. Maybe a little overdoing it. Maybe a little tweak muscle. Any number of things. It could be something was making Tai uncomfortable enough that she was breathing a bit differently because of some mild pain.

That fact that she’s all better now is very encouraging and maybe just shows something was a little “off”.

Thirty minutes plus??? I hope there were lots and lots and lots of little rest stops!

It doesn’t sound like she’s bored at all!!

Certainly get her checked out if any continuous shortness of breath and lethargy to uncover the cause and get it treated.

She’s one rough adorable pul!! A little SUPERSTAR!!!

    Lot’s of love

  2. Unfortunately, worrying is just part of this journey. All you can do is make each day as special as you can, and just enjoy your time together.

  3. Worry has become a part of all who travel here. Just try and keep it tamped down so it doesn’t steal any of your your joyful “todays”. Tai will guide you.
